At first glance, the answer is obvious:
flybridge = more space.
But more on a yacht doesn't always mean better.
A good example is the Aventura 38 Sedan.
With a length of 11.95 m and a width of 5.63 m, it is a full-fledged motor catamaran with three cabins, but without an upper control room.
Why give up the extra deck?

The lower the superstructure, the smaller the area affected by the crosswind — this is especially felt during maneuvers in the marina.

There is no heavy upper deck with a control room, furniture and equipment.

This means that there are potentially more routes under bridges and fewer restrictions on inland waterways.

You don't have to go up and down stairs all the time.
A completely different feeling of control
Instead of sitting high above the water, you control the boat almost at sea level — from a protected cabin with a panoramic view.
And at the same time, this is not a slow pleasure catamaran.
Aventura claims a cruising speed of about 23 knots and a maximum speed of more than 35 knots for the 38 Sedan, depending on the power plant.
Therefore, choosing between Sedan and Flybridge is not a choice between "less" and "more".
This is the choice of philosophy.
Flybridge — more open space and a second standard of living.
Sedan — lower, simpler and everything you need is nearby.
