Seawind builds sailing catamarans for the open ocean: a lighter build, speed, and the strength to handle real weather, not just fair days.
About the yard
The yard was founded in Sydney in 1982 by Richard Ward, a sailor with more than 40 years at sea. His idea: a boat that is safe for unlimited ocean passages, yet fast and easy for a crew of two.
The 1170 is built in Turkey, the larger models in Vietnam.
